"Dream, Dream, Dream! Conduct these dreams into thoughts, and then transform them into action."

Addressing a press conference, National Institute of Oceanography Director SWA Naqvi claimed that Marine archaeologists have discovered the world's first ancient urban settlement, which was probably destroyed by a tsunami. Dholavira in the Rann of Kutch region of Gujarat could have been hit by a tsunami about 3,450 years ago. It was the largest urban port-town of the Harappan period which flourished about 5,000 years ago. Dholavira site, the second largest Harappan site located within India, is made up of three parts, which includes a lower town, a middle town and a castle. It has a 14-18 meters thick wall, which was apparently built to protect against the tsunamis.
